The success of any technology solution depends on its adoption by the user community. With MajorTom, you’re in control of how the tool works, letting you configure it in ways that make sense for your organization. This unique configuration includes:
- Folder Hierarchy – Assets are organized in MajorTom using an unlimited folder/sub-folder structure. The nature of this structure is completely configurable by your organization to reflect the way you wish to store, view, and find your assets.
- Keywords – Keywords can be configured simply or in a complex hierarchy to mirror the way your business is organized. For example, you may wish to have keywords around brands, clients, product lines, locations, or business units. These keywords can be assigned to assets as they are uploaded into MajorTom or at a later date.
- Collections – With permission, each user can create personal folders, or collections. These collections can be used to quickly access files that are used frequently by an individual or shared by a team. Items in a collection can also be shared with any individual by using the PIN function.
- Custom Fields – What are the odds that Aquent could guess all the information you would ever want to store about your assets? The answer? No chance. That’s why MajorTom allows you to define and standardize all the information that you want to capture for your assets. Through a simple interface, anyone with the proper permissions can create custom fields in the format you want.
- Subscriptions – A user can “subscribe” to a folder and be notified immediately or daily if any assets are uploaded, downloaded, or modified in that folder. This can be beneficial for users that wish to carefully track assets (such as presentations or collateral) associated with a specific folders.
- Languages – As a true enterprise solution, RoboHead can be displayed in 6 languages (English, German, French, Italian, Spanish, and Japanese).Aany unique terms that are used within MajorTom (ike keywords) can also be input in multiple languages.
- Branding – Not crazy about the name MajorTom? We can incorporate your logo into the system to maintain organizational identity.
