The most complete digital library is worthless if you can’t quickly and easily find the assets you need. Finding those assets couldn’t be easier with MajorTom’s advanced, multi-layered search feature. This capability allows you to search for assets in a number of different ways:
- Full-Text Searching – Search by the text in the file name, folder names, and the contents of the file! Imagine being able to input a word and have MajorTom return every relevant asset –images, documents, presentations, even PDF’s may be returned to you.
- Extended Searching – Taking Full-Text Searching one step further you can put in other conditions, such as
• with any word
• with the exact phrase
• without the word
- Narrowing the Search – Narrow the results of the search to include only those assets that you want returned to you. You may wish to narrow your search by: images, documents, audio files, video files, other types of files, folders, and even links. You can also limit the search to a specific folder or sub-folder.
- Format-Specific Searching – You can select from almost 30 different format options
- Asset Properties – If you are looking for assets of a specific size or upload date, you can incorporate that into your search parameters.
- Dominant Colors – Search for an image by a specific HEX color value or search by choosing the color.
- Keywords – When an asset is uploaded, you can associate it with pre-defined keywords. These keywords are a powerful way to organize your assets and to locate them in the future. You can even search on keywords in specific languages!
